Works with the BMS you already run
ARC appears as BACnet points, so Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell and Schneider read and write it like any other device on the network. Your controls contractor keeps their system and gains a point per radiator. A local-only mode keeps everything on site.2

ARC has a knob and a readout, and turning it does what turning the valve always did. Nothing to explain to an occupant, nothing to relearn, and no one loses control of their own radiator. The building schedule runs underneath and takes the room back when it empties.

Each ARC watches its own room, closes the valve when the room empties, and reopens it early enough that the room is at temperature when the door opens. Warm-up, setback, weekends and holidays are written once, by wing, floor or room, so an empty wing on a Sunday is not heated for Monday.

- What does it cost?
- It scales with the number of radiators, and the quote is in writing before anything is installed.
- Is my building a fit?
- Tell us about the building and its radiators and we will say plainly, before anything is quoted.
- Does it help with Local Law 97 or benchmarking?
- It gives a filing measured rooms. ARC logs runtime per radiator, so the heating record rests on measurements rather than estimates. It does not file for you, and runtime is not an emissions figure; the caps are set in emissions.5
- Who installs it?
- We do, in a paid pilot. Minutes per radiator, no electrical work at it, and a few minutes of access to each room.
- Do occupants have to do anything?
- No. The knob works as it did.
- Can I buy it for my own building?
- Yes, for as few rooms as you like. Tell us the rooms and we quote it the same way.
